Samsung Raises US Prices of Galaxy S26 Series

Samsung Raises US Prices of Galaxy S26 Series

Samsung has increased the official US prices of its Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26 Plus and Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphones, with most configurations receiving a $100 price hike.

According to PhoneArena, the price increase comes amid a global memory shortage that has pushed up component costs. The Galaxy S26 series had already launched at higher prices than its Galaxy S25 predecessors in some configurations.

Under Samsung’s new pricing structure, the Galaxy S26 with 256GB of storage now starts at $999.99, while the 512GB version costs $1,199.99.

The Galaxy S26 Plus is now priced at $1,199.99 for 256GB and $1,399.99 for 512GB.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S26 Ultra costs $1,399.99 for the 256GB model, $1,599.99 for 512GB, and $1,999.99 for the 1TB version.

The 1TB Galaxy S26 Ultra received the biggest increase, rising by $200 from its previous $1,799.99 list price.

Despite the increases, some retailers are still offering discounts. Amazon, for example, was reported to be selling the 512GB Galaxy S26 Ultra for as much as $300 below Samsung’s newly revised list price.

PhoneArena also noted that Samsung’s Galaxy S26 FE, Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip 8 and Galaxy A-series smartphones had not received similar price increases at the time of publication.

The price changes have also raised expectations about Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S27 series. PhoneArena expects the higher component costs could influence the launch prices of the next-generation devices, although Samsung has not officially announced Galaxy S27 pricing.
