Enugu Air Expands Regional Operations with Douala Route

Enugu State-owned airline, Enugu Air, has announced plans to introduce direct flights between Enugu and Douala, Cameroon.

The new service will operate twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays, allowing passengers travelling from Lagos and Abuja to connect to Douala through Enugu.

The airline’s Chief Operating Officer, Ugonna Agubuokwu, said the new route is aimed at strengthening business and social connections between Nigeria and Cameroon while making regional air travel more convenient.

According to Agubuokwu, flights will depart Enugu at 12:45 p.m. and arrive in Douala at 1:45 p.m. The return flight will leave Douala at 2:30 p.m. and arrive in Enugu at 3:30 p.m.

He explained that the schedule was designed to allow passengers from Lagos and Abuja to connect conveniently through Enugu.

Agubuokwu said the new route would bring businesses, families and opportunities closer together while supporting Enugu Air’s ambition to improve regional connectivity across Africa.

The Enugu-Douala service is expected to provide passengers with another travel option between Nigeria and Cameroon and further expand Enugu Air’s regional operations.
