Iran Executes Two Men Over Alleged Security and Terrorism Offences

Iran has executed two men accused of offences linked to national security and alleged involvement in a banned organisation, according to reports by the country’s Tasnim news agency on Thursday.

The report identified the men as Ramin Zaleh and Karim Maroufpour.

Iranian authorities said the pair were convicted of forming a group aimed at destabilising the country’s security and for membership in what officials described as a “terrorist” organisation.
