Egypt Condemns Riyadh Attacks, Reaffirms Support for Saudi Arabia

Egypt has strongly condemned attacks on Riyadh on Saturday morning, describing them as a “flagrant violation” of Saudi Arabia’s security and stability, as well as international law.

In a statement, Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the attacks as a “dangerous escalation” that could heighten regional tensions and further destabilise the Middle East.

Cairo said it “categorically rejects” any attempt to undermine Saudi Arabia’s security or sovereignty and expressed full solidarity with the kingdom.

Egypt also voiced support for any measures Saudi Arabia may take to protect its security, stability and territorial integrity.

The Egyptian government stressed that the security of Saudi Arabia and Egypt is “indivisible.”
