Tecno has officially announced the launch date for its upcoming smartphone, the Pova 8 5G, confirming that the device will debut in India on June 11 at 12 PM local time.
The new model is expected to expand the company’s popular Pova lineup, with early details revealing a focus on long battery life and gaming-oriented performance.
Big Battery and Familiar Design
One of the standout features of the Pova 8 5G is its 8,000mAh battery, which places it among the largest in its category. The capacity was confirmed through markings on the device and positions it as Tecno’s biggest battery phone so far.
Design teasers also show a refreshed rear look featuring a dot-matrix style display integrated into the camera module, along with a semi-transparent aesthetic. The design appears inspired by recent “glyph-style” smartphone trends.

According to earlier benchmark listings, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chipset, the same processor used in some previous Pova models.
