A senior official of Yemen’s Ansarullah has warned the United States that it will face consequences after rejecting Iran’s latest proposal aimed at ending the regional conflict.
Nasruddin Amer, deputy head of Ansarullah’s media office, said Washington’s refusal to accept Tehran’s response showed continued American “intransigence” and escalation. Writing on X, Amer stated that the US would bear responsibility for the outcome of its actions “regardless of their scale or form.”
Amer also criticized US President Donald Trump, claiming his rejection of Iran’s proposal followed consultations with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
According to reports, Iran’s counterproposal was delivered to Washington through Pakistani mediators on Sunday. The plan reportedly called for compensation for war damages, removal of sanctions, release of frozen Iranian assets, and recognition of Iran’s sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump reportedly described Tehran’s response as “completely unacceptable” during an interview with Axios and confirmed discussions with Netanyahu regarding the proposal.
Iranian officials insist that current negotiations are focused solely on ending the conflict in the region and protecting Iran’s national interests. Sources close to the talks said Tehran rejected earlier US demands, describing them as attempts to force Iran into surrendering to excessive conditions.
The latest exchange highlights rising tensions between Washington and Tehran, while Yemen’s Ansarullah movement continues to voice support for Iran amid ongoing regional instability.
