US President Donald Trump has reportedly stated that the United States previously supplied weapons that may have ended up with groups involved in unrest inside Iran.
Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump suggested that certain elements engaged in protests in Iran were supported indirectly, claiming that weapons had been provided in past actions and later diverted. He also referred to Kurdish groups, alleging that some of the supplied arms were not returned or properly accounted for.
