Governor Adeleke Urges Osun People to Choose Progress Over Hardship in August 15 Governorship Election.

Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has called on residents to turn out in large numbers and vote in the August 15 governorship election, saying his administration will not allow the All Progressives Congress (APC) to return the state to what he described as an era of economic hardship.

In a message shared on his official X account, Adeleke urged eligible voters to protect the progress made under his government by supporting his bid for a second term.

The governor accused the previous APC-led administration of worsening the living conditions of civil servants by paying half salaries and making it difficult for many families to meet their basic needs.

He appealed to the people of Osun to reject a return to those conditions, insisting that the state has chosen a path of development, compassion, and responsible governance.

Adeleke also encouraged voters to participate peacefully in the election and reaffirm their commitment to sustaining the state's progress.

His remarks come as political campaigns intensify ahead of the August 15 governorship election, where he is seeking re-election.
