US Airstrikes Kill Seven at Iranian Military Base, Army Says

At least seven Iranian military personnel were killed after US airstrikes targeted an army base in Bampur overnight, according to Iran's military and the semi-official Tasnim News Agency.

The army said the attack involved 13 missiles that struck a guesthouse, guard posts, and accommodation facilities at the base near Iranshahr in southeastern Iran. Officials claimed the strikes were intended to inflict heavy casualties on troops stationed at the facility.

Several other military personnel were reportedly injured in the attack. Iranian authorities condemned the strikes and vowed to deliver a "decisive response" against the United States.

The incident marks another escalation in the ongoing conflict involving the US, Israel, and Iran, raising concerns over further military confrontation in the region.
