Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has warned that any future attack against Iran will be met with an immediate and decisive response, stressing that the country's military and scientific progress will continue despite the loss of senior commanders and scientists.
In a statement released on Wednesday to commemorate those killed during the June 2025 conflict, Qalibaf paid tribute to military leaders and nuclear scientists who died while serving the country.
He said previous conflicts had demonstrated that Iran's strength comes from resilience, sacrifice, and national unity, adding that public support had played a key role in confronting external threats.
Qalibaf emphasized that the deaths of senior commanders and scientists had not weakened Iran's defense capabilities or scientific advancement.
“Any aggression against Iran will receive a swift and decisive response,” he said.
The parliament speaker also reaffirmed support for Iran's leadership and expressed confidence that the country would continue pursuing its strategic objectives despite ongoing regional tensions.
The remarks come amid continued strain between Iran, the United States, and Israel following months of military confrontation and retaliatory strikes across the region.
According to Iranian officials, a ceasefire brokered earlier this year has reduced direct hostilities, although tensions remain high and concerns persist over the possibility of renewed conflict.
Qalibaf concluded his message by expressing confidence in Iran's future and calling on citizens to remain united in the face of external pressure.
