Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a strong warning that any renewed military strike by the United States or Israel against Iran could trigger a conflict extending far beyond the Middle East.
In a statement released Wednesday, the IRGC addressed what it called the “American-Zionist enemy,” accusing Washington and Tel Aviv of failing to learn from past confrontations and continuing to rely on threats and pressure.
The statement claimed that despite Iran being targeted with the full strength of what it described as the world’s most expensive military forces, the country had not yet deployed all of its own defensive capabilities.
It further warned that if aggression is repeated, the scope of any resulting war would not be limited to the region. Instead, it said the conflict could expand globally, with strikes occurring in unexpected locations.
“The regional war that was promised will this time extend beyond the region, and our crushing blows will bring ruin where you least expect,” the statement said.
Quoting religious text, the IRGC also declared its readiness for confrontation, stating that Iran would demonstrate its power on the battlefield rather than through “empty words or online statements.”
The warning comes amid continued tensions between Iran and its adversaries over regional security issues and military activities in the Middle East.
