The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has declared that Iran’s armed forces are fully prepared to launch what it described as a “crushing and devastating” response to any future military aggression against the country.
In a statement issued on Sunday to commemorate the anniversary of the liberation of Khorramshahr during the 1980s Iran-Iraq war, the IRGC said the country’s defense forces remain at peak operational readiness across missile, naval, air, ground, cyber, and space sectors.
The military body said Iran had successfully resisted recent conflicts and claimed that enemy forces were ultimately forced to seek ceasefires after failing to achieve their objectives. It also emphasized that national unity and military preparedness continue to serve as the country’s main deterrence strategy.
According to the statement, Iran’s advances in defense technology, missile systems, and strategic capabilities have altered the calculations of its adversaries and strengthened the country’s regional posture.
The IRGC further stressed that Iran would continue monitoring developments closely while supporting diplomatic efforts aimed at preventing renewed conflict in the region.
