Tinubu Begins Three-Week European Leave Ahead of 2027 Campaign

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has begun a three-week vacation in Europe as part of his annual leave.

The President’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday, August 30, 2026.

According to Onanuga, Tinubu departed Abuja on Sunday and will first travel to London, United Kingdom.

He is expected to return to Nigeria after the working vacation and resume preparations for the January 2027 election campaign.
