Three Killed, 15 Injured in Explosion Near Moscow Cafe

At least three people were killed and 15 others injured after an explosion occurred near a cafe in central Moscow, Russian authorities said on Saturday.

The blast happened at approximately 8:10 p.m. local time in Kudrinskaya Square, close to a restaurant in the Russian capital. Emergency responders, including police, firefighters, and medical teams, quickly arrived at the scene to assist victims and secure the area.

According to officials, those injured were taken for medical treatment, with some reported to be in serious condition. Authorities have not yet confirmed the cause of the explosion and have launched an investigation.

Following the incident, traffic around Kudrinskaya Square was temporarily suspended, while entrances to the nearby Barrikadnaya Metro Station were closed as a precaution.

Russian authorities said further information will be released as the investigation continues.
