Tecno has launched the Camon 50 Ultra, a premium 5G smartphone combining a high-refresh-rate AMOLED display, powerful cameras, a large battery and Android 16.
The phone features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 1208 × 2644 resolution and HDR10 support. It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset and comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
For photography, the Camon 50 Ultra has a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide camera. The front also features a 50MP selfie camera with autofocus and supports 4K video recording.
The smartphone packs a 6,160mAh or 6,500mAh battery with 45W wired charging. It also offers stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, NFC, infrared, an under-display fingerprint sensor and dual-SIM support with eSIM.
The device is rated IP68/IP69K for dust and water resistance and uses Gorilla Glass 7i on both the front and back.
The Tecno Camon 50 Ultra runs Android 16 with HiOS 16 and is promised up to three major Android OS updates.
