KC Luxury Sues NDLEA, Demands ₦190m Over Continued Detention

Lagos socialite Afolabi Kazeem, popularly known as KC Luxury, has filed a lawsuit against the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), demanding ₦190 million in damages over his arrest and continued detention.

KC Luxury is also asking the Federal High Court to grant him bail while he challenges his continued detention by the anti-drug agency.

He was arrested by NDLEA operatives at Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, on August 13, 2026, reportedly while preparing to travel to Paris.

His arrest followed the agency’s seizure of 184.5kg of cocaine from a courier company in Lagos.

NDLEA Chairman Brig. Gen. Mohamed Buba Marwa (retd.) said KC Luxury did not voluntarily surrender to the agency but was allegedly attempting to leave Nigeria on a business-class flight to Paris.
