Iran Security Chief Rejects Claims of Plot to Assassinate Trump’s Son

Iran’s security chief, Mohsen Rezaei, has denied reports that Tehran was involved in a potential plot to assassinate Barron Trump, the youngest son of US President Donald Trump.

Rezaei described the report as a lie during an interview broadcast by Lebanon’s Al Manar TV on Thursday.

The US Secret Service previously said it was aware of a video aired by Iranian state television that discussed a possible plot against Barron Trump.

The allegations come amid heightened tensions between Iran and the United States. However, Rezaei rejected any suggestion that Iran was behind plans to target the US president’s son.
