The Adamawa State Government has highlighted the completion of a 1,000-unit modern housing estate in Malkohi, Yola, describing it as one of the state's most significant infrastructure and social development projects.
According to the government, the housing project was initiated under Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri to provide affordable, modern homes for residents while supporting planned urban expansion and improving living standards.
Officials said the project has also created employment opportunities during construction, boosted local businesses, and contributed to the economic growth of the state capital. They added that the initiative reflects the administration's commitment to sustainable development, social welfare, and inclusive economic progress.
The government further described the housing estate as a lasting legacy of Governor Fintiri's administration, saying it demonstrates how strategic planning and investment can deliver tangible benefits to citizens.
Photos released by the state government show completed residential buildings and supporting infrastructure within the estate.
