The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the dates for the oral interview stage of the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise into the Nigeria Correctional Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Federal Fire Service and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
According to the Board, candidates who applied under the Graduate Category and participated in the recently concluded physical and medical screening will be able to check their shortlisting status from Monday, August 31 to Wednesday, September 2, 2026.
Candidates who applied with NCE, OND or SSCE qualifications are expected to check the same recruitment portal from Monday, September 7 to Wednesday, September 9, 2026.
Shortlisted applicants will be required to select a convenient interview venue, date and time, and print their invitation letters. They must also appear in the dress code specified in their invitation letters.
The Board stressed that only candidates who are shortlisted for the final exercise will be allowed into the interview venues.
CDCFIB Secretary, Maj. Gen. Abdulmalik Jibril (retd.), said the Board would not send recruitment-related emails, advising applicants to rely strictly on the official recruitment portal for all updates.
The Board also warned applicants against fraudsters demanding money in exchange for employment, reiterating that the recruitment exercise is free of charge and transparent.
Applicants are advised to use the official CDCFIB recruitment portal to verify their status and obtain further instructions.
