In the occupied West Bank, the United Nations reported a rise in settler-related violence and land seizures, describing July as one of the deadliest months for Palestinians in such incidents since 2023. International organisations have also raised concerns over settlement expansion and its impact on Palestinian communities.
The latest developments underscore the fragile nature of the ceasefire and the ongoing challenges facing efforts to achieve a lasting peace in the region.
