Air Peace, Etihad Partner to Expand Air Connectivity Across West and Central Africa.

Air Peace and Etihad Airways have signed a new interline agreement aimed at improving travel connections across Nigeria, West Africa, Central Africa, and the Middle East.

The partnership will allow passengers to book a single ticket for journeys connecting Etihad's international flights with Air Peace's domestic and regional network. Through the agreement, Etihad customers will gain access to 20 destinations across Nigeria and neighboring African countries, while Air Peace passengers will be able to connect to Abu Dhabi via Etihad's Lagos and Accra services once the routes commence.

The destinations covered include Abuja, Port Harcourt, Kano, Enugu, Benin City, Owerri, Warri, Asaba, Abidjan, Dakar, Banjul, Freetown, Monrovia, Conakry, Bamako, Douala and Libreville.

Etihad said the partnership supports its long-term expansion strategy in Africa, including plans to launch daily flights between Abu Dhabi and Lagos.

Etihad Airways' Chief Commercial and Revenue Officer, Arik De, described Nigeria as a key market in the airline's African growth plans, saying the agreement gives travelers access to one of the continent's largest domestic and regional networks.

Air Peace Chief Commercial Officer, Nowel Ngala, said the collaboration will provide customers with easier access to Abu Dhabi and other international destinations while strengthening travel links across West Africa.

The airlines said bookings for combined journeys will become available through both carriers once the agreement takes effect.

The deal follows Air Peace's recent partnerships with Turkish Airlines and Emirates as the Nigerian carrier continues expanding its international network and positioning Lagos as a major aviation hub in West Africa.
