Many Feared Trapped as Three-Floor Building Collapses in Lagos

A three-storey building has collapsed in the Alakija area of Lagos State, with several people feared trapped under the rubble.

The incident reportedly occurred on Thursday morning at about 11:40 am. The number of people trapped inside the collapsed structure has not yet been confirmed.

Residents and eyewitnesses gathered at the scene as they waited for emergency responders and rescue teams to arrive.

Authorities have not yet confirmed the cause of the collapse or the number of casualties.

Rescue operations are expected to begin as efforts continue to locate and save anyone trapped beneath the debris.
