The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mop-up exercise.
JAMB’s Public Communication Adviser, Fabian Benjamin, announced on Tuesday that candidates who participated in the mop-up examination can now check their results through the approved result-checking channels.
According to him, the board will begin the ranking of candidates following the successful completion and release of the mop-up results. The printing of results for admission purposes is expected to commence before the weekend.
The mop-up examination was conducted on Saturday, June 13, 2026, as a final opportunity for candidates who were verified through biometric checks but could not take the main UTME due to technical challenges, biometric issues, or other disruptions at examination centres.
The main 2026 UTME was held from April 16 to April 25, 2026.
JAMB appreciated candidates and stakeholders for their patience and cooperation throughout the examination process.
