FUOYE Suspends Two Students Over Leaked Adult Video Involving SUG President

The management of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) has suspended two students over allegations that they shared a leaked private video involving the university’s Students’ Union Government (SUG) President, James Iyanuoluwa Adio.

The university announced the suspension in a statement released on Friday by the Acting Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Tajudeen Opoola.

According to the statement, the two students — Alao Iyanuoluwa Odunayo and Olawale Abiodun Samuel — were accused of conspiring to cyberbully Adio by posting his private content online after alleged disagreements over financial demands.

The institution said it condemned the students’ actions, describing them as conduct capable of damaging the reputation of the university.

FUOYE added that investigations into the matter are ongoing and ordered the two students to immediately proceed on suspension pending further decisions.

The development comes shortly after the SUG President himself was suspended over separate allegations of extortion involving students.
