Samsung Galaxy Phones May Soon Get Apple-Style App Mirroring

Samsung could soon introduce an Apple-inspired feature that allows Galaxy smartphone users to mirror and control their phone from a connected laptop.

According to leaked screenshots shared by leaker Fahad Ali Javed, Samsung’s upcoming One UI 9.5 update may include an app-mirroring feature. The feature would reportedly allow users to access and control apps on their Samsung phone through a linked computer.

The feature is similar to Apple’s iPhone Mirroring, which lets iPhone users view their phone on a Mac, receive notifications and interact with their apps without constantly picking up the phone.

Reports suggest Samsung’s version could work between a Galaxy phone and a compatible laptop when both devices are signed into the same Samsung account. This could make it easier for users to manage their phones while working on a computer.

One UI 9.5 may also introduce a horizontal app bar with a permanently visible search bar, a feature already available on some Samsung foldable phones. It remains unclear how useful the design will be on conventional Galaxy smartphones.

If the leaked information proves accurate, app mirroring could become one of the most useful additions to Samsung’s next One UI update.
