The National Youth Wing of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has announced the commencement of applications for the 2026 Zacch Adedeji Taxation and Fiscal Policy Fellowship, an initiative designed to develop young Nigerians into future leaders in taxation, public finance, and economic governance.
According to a statement issued by APC National Youth Leader Dayo Israel, the fellowship aims to equip participants with the knowledge, practical skills, and experience needed to contribute to fiscal reforms, improve transparency and accountability, and strengthen public finance management in Nigeria.
Israel said the programme is part of the party's commitment to nurturing a new generation of competent policy experts capable of addressing the country's economic challenges through innovation, integrity, and effective public service.
The fellowship is open to qualified young Nigerians, including economists, accountants, lawyers, finance professionals, tax practitioners, policy analysts, public finance experts, revenue administrators, strategic communicators, and others interested in fiscal policy and national development.
Successful applicants will receive expert-led training, mentorship, policy engagement opportunities, field visits, and collaborative sessions focusing on taxation, revenue generation, digital transformation, fiscal governance, and sustainable economic growth.
Applications opened on July 28, 2026, and will close on August 15, 2026. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their applications through the official online application portal before the deadline.
