World Leaders Join Trump at Funeral Service for Lindsey Graham.

United States President Donald Trump joined several world leaders, senior government officials, family members and hundreds of mourners on Tuesday to honor the late Senator Lindsey Graham during a funeral service at the Washington National Cathedral.

Graham, the longtime Republican senator from South Carolina, died on July 11, 2026, after a brief illness at the age of 71. He served in the U.S. Senate since 2003 and was known for his strong influence on American foreign and domestic policy.

Among those attending the service were Vice President JD Vance, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Finnish President Alexander Stubb, Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and members of the Trump family.

Delivering a tribute, President Trump described Graham as "a beloved friend" and praised his decades of public service, saying the senator played a major role in shaping U.S. legislation and foreign policy.

"For more than 30 years, nothing of consequence happened in this capital without Lindsey Graham knowing about it," Trump said, adding that Graham "gave America the full measure of his good and mighty heart."

Throughout his political career, Graham was a prominent advocate for a strong U.S. military, backed the 2003 Iraq War, supported Ukraine following Russia's 2022 invasion, and maintained close support for Israel.

The funeral brought together political leaders from across the United States and abroad to celebrate Graham's legacy and contributions to American politics.
