Tecno Confirms Camon 50 Ultra 5G India Launch for July 17

Tecno has officially announced that its new Camon 50 Ultra 5G smartphone will launch in India on July 17, 2026, with the unveiling scheduled for 12:00 PM IST. The smartphone will be sold exclusively through Amazon India.

The Camon 50 Ultra 5G will be offered in three color options: Misty Purple, Cypress Green, and Nebula Titanium. The device features a slim flat-frame design with rounded corners and a vertically aligned triple rear camera setup.

Tecno says the smartphone is designed with AI-powered photography and content creation tools, allowing users to edit photos directly on the device while offering an all-day battery experience.

The smartphone was first showcased at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026 in Barcelona. It is expected to feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness.

Under the hood, the Camon 50 Ultra 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultimate chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It will run Android 16 with HiOS 16 out of the box.

Tecno has not yet revealed the official price of the smartphone. The company is expected to announce pricing and availability during the launch event on July 17.
