Soldiers Arrest Six Suspected Terrorist Logistics Suppliers in North-East Nigeria.

Troops of Operation Hadin Kai have arrested six suspected terrorist logistics suppliers during an intelligence-led operation in Nigeria's North-East, the military announced on Monday.

The suspects were intercepted at about 4:00 p.m. on July 19, 2026, while travelling in five vehicles along a route believed to be used for supplying terrorist groups. According to the military, the operation was carried out based on credible intelligence aimed at disrupting insurgents' supply networks.

Captain Muhammed Goni, Acting Military Information Officer for Operation Hadin Kai, said the operation dealt a significant blow to terrorist logistics in the region.

Items recovered from the suspects included 202 cartons of herbicides, one jerrycan containing suspected acid, a Starlink satellite internet communication system, six bags of NPK fertilizer, ten bags of rice, 50 hoes, and 20 knapsack sprayer pumps.

Military authorities said the recovered materials have potential dual-use applications that could support terrorist operations, including logistics, mobility, communications, and possible improvised explosive device (IED) production. The suspected acid and fertilizer will undergo forensic examination to determine their intended use.

The six suspects and all recovered items have been handed over to military intelligence for further investigation to identify the intended recipients, uncover the wider logistics network, and track down other collaborators and sponsors.

The military also disclosed that information obtained from rescued hostages and surrendered terrorist family members indicates that sustained attacks on terrorist supply chains have severely weakened insurgent groups. According to the debriefings, shortages of food, medical supplies, communication equipment, and other essential materials have forced many fighters to abandon their camps, families, and hostages while fleeing military pressure.

Operation Hadin Kai reaffirmed its commitment to dismantling terrorist support networks and urged members of the public to continue providing timely and credible information on suspicious persons and activities to strengthen ongoing counter-terrorism efforts across the North-East.
