At least four Palestinians, including two children, were killed in separate Israeli airstrikes across the Gaza Strip on Thursday, according to local health officials and medics.
One strike reportedly hit a tent sheltering displaced civilians in Khan Younis, southern Gaza, killing a man and an eight-year-old girl. In a separate attack on a house in the Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza, an 18-month-old child was killed and eight others were injured.
The Israeli military said the strikes targeted Hamas members.
Later in the day, another airstrike struck a man riding a bicycle near tents housing displaced families in Gaza City, killing one person and wounding 10 others, medics said.
Health authorities in Gaza said the latest fatalities bring the number of Palestinians killed in Israeli strikes since the ceasefire was announced to more than 1,200, adding that most of those killed were civilians.
Although the ceasefire significantly reduced large-scale fighting, Israeli airstrikes have continued almost daily. Israel says four of its soldiers have been killed by militants in Gaza since the truce began.
Most of Gaza's estimated two million residents remain displaced, living in tents or damaged buildings under worsening humanitarian conditions while efforts by international mediators continue to seek a lasting end to the conflict.
