Samsung is said to be developing a new fitness wearable, the Galaxy Fit 4, which could be introduced later this year as the successor to the Galaxy Fit 3.
According to industry sources, the upcoming device is not expected to debut during Samsung’s July Galaxy Unpacked event. Instead, the company may unveil the fitness tracker around September 2026, potentially alongside the Galaxy S26 FE smartphone and the Galaxy Tab S12 tablet lineup.
While Samsung has not officially revealed specifications for the Galaxy Fit 4, the wearable is expected to build upon the features offered by the Galaxy Fit 3. The current model includes an OLED display, heart-rate monitoring, motion sensors, workout tracking, and sleep analysis.
The new tracker is likely to continue using Samsung’s lightweight operating system rather than Wear OS, helping to maintain long battery life and affordability.
One feature that many users hope to see is built-in GPS support. Adding standalone GPS would allow runners, cyclists, and other outdoor fitness enthusiasts to track routes and workouts more accurately without needing to carry a smartphone.
If Samsung introduces GPS and other meaningful upgrades, the Galaxy Fit 4 could strengthen its position in the budget fitness tracker market and offer consumers a more capable alternative to its predecessor.
