The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has graduated 111 personnel from its Special Forces Course 13/2026 as part of efforts to improve its operational strength and support national security operations.
The graduation ceremony took place at the Regiment Training Centre Annex in Bauchi.
The NAF said the training represents another major step in its commitment to developing highly skilled, combat-ready personnel capable of responding to Nigeria’s changing security challenges.
The intensive programme equipped the new operators with specialised knowledge, tactical abilities, and the resilience required for complex Special Forces missions in support of air and joint military operations.
The Chief of the Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Aneke, was represented at the ceremony by the Chief of Training, Headquarters Nigerian Air Force, Air Vice Marshal Ahmed Dari.
Aneke congratulated the graduates and urged them to maintain professionalism, discipline, and dedication in their service to the country.
He stated that the strength of any military force depends on the quality, commitment, and character of its personnel.
The Commandant of the Regiment Training Centre Annex, Bauchi, Squadron Leader EL Akpan, also reaffirmed the centre’s commitment to producing competent and mission-ready Special Forces operators.
The event featured tactical displays, including obstacle crossing exercises, commando self-defence drills, and air assault demonstrations.
Senior military officers, representatives from other security agencies, and members of sister services attended the ceremony.
The Nigerian Air Force said the graduation reflects its continued investment in human capacity development and operational excellence to strengthen national security efforts.
