Iran’s top military command has stated that the “will of the Iranian nation” forced its enemies to accept an agreement to end the war, following a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Iran and the United States.
The statement, issued by the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, praised the Iranian people and armed forces, describing their resistance as decisive throughout the conflict.
Iran says its military and population demonstrated “unbreakable resolve” during more than 100 days of war.
The armed forces claim the US and its allies were “forced to accept defeat and surrender.”
Iran describes the outcome as proof that continued resistance is the only effective strategy against foreign pressure.
According to Iranian officials and regional mediators:
A US–Iran MoU has been finalized and is expected to be formally signed in Switzerland.
The agreement reportedly includes:
An end to the US naval blockade on Iran
Suspension of military operations on all fronts, including Lebanon
Future steps toward reopening maritime routes such as the Strait of Hormuz
Pakistan has been named as one of the mediators involved in facilitating negotiations.
Iran says the deal also covers wider regional tensions, including conflict in Lebanon.
Officials insist the agreement must protect Iran’s national interests and security.
Some reports suggest continued uncertainty over enforcement and whether all parties, including Israel, will comply.
Iran presents the agreement as a political and military victory achieved through resistance, while also framing it as the start of a longer negotiation process. The US and other mediators describe it as a framework for de-escalation and restoring stability in the region.
