Paris Rally Marks Nakba Anniversary in Support of Palestine

A large pro-Palestine demonstration was held in Paris to commemorate the Nakba, marking 78 years since the 1948 displacement of Palestinians from their homes.

The rally brought together protesters who expressed solidarity with Palestinians and highlighted what they described as ongoing injustice and resistance since the Nakba. Participants carried Palestinian flags and called for stronger international action against Israel’s military operations and policies toward Palestinians.

Demonstrators also criticized Western governments, accusing them of failing to pressure Israel to halt what they described as unlawful wars and discriminatory practices.

The protest formed part of global commemorations of the Nakba, an event widely remembered by Palestinians and supporters as the beginning of mass displacement following the creation of Israel in 1948.

The Paris gathering adds to a series of international demonstrations held in solidarity with Palestinians amid continuing tensions in the Middle East.
