Masoud Pezeshkian Applauds Iranians’ Unity During Post-War Reconstruction

Iran President Masoud Pezeshkian has praised the resilience and solidarity of the Iranian people as the country continues rebuilding efforts following the recent 40-day conflict involving the United States and Israel.

In a video message shared Thursday on his X account, Pezeshkian said Iranians demonstrated that “national solidarity” remains the country’s greatest strength during times of crisis. He thanked citizens from all sectors for their sacrifices, cooperation, and support throughout the conflict and the ongoing reconstruction process.

“The people of Iran showed that unity and empathy are the path through hardship,” he said, adding that the nation would rebuild together through collective effort.

The video featured scenes of wartime destruction, emergency relief operations, and public support activities carried out during and after the conflict, which Iranian officials have described as the “Third Imposed War.”

Pezeshkian also commended workers and emergency personnel who continued providing services despite reported attacks on fuel infrastructure and strategic reserves in Tehran.

He stated that despite the scale of the crisis, economic and social disruptions were kept relatively limited due to coordinated efforts by government agencies and frontline staff.

During the conflict, Iranian military forces reportedly launched multiple retaliatory strikes targeting American and Israeli-linked positions across the region.

A Pakistan-mediated ceasefire has reportedly remained in place since early April, although Iranian officials say restrictions and maritime pressures against the country continue.
