Hezbollah Claims Rocket Attack on Israeli Forces Near Southern Lebanese Town

Hezbollah said its fighters carried out a series of attacks against Israeli troops and military vehicles near the southern Lebanese town of Hadatha amid continuing border tensions with Israel.

According to the group, explosive devices were detonated against Israeli military bulldozers advancing between the towns of Rashaf and Hadatha in southern Lebanon. Hezbollah claimed one explosive struck a bulldozer moving toward Hadatha, while another targeted a separate military vehicle along the same route.

The group also said it launched rockets at Israeli soldiers and military vehicles gathered near the outskirts of Hadatha during the confrontation.

The reported attacks came as smoke was seen rising from southern Lebanon following Israeli air strikes in the area, according to local reports and images released from the region.

Cross-border hostilities between Hezbollah and Israeli forces have continued to intensify amid the wider regional conflict linked to the war in Gaza.
