Initially, this assembly was founded by Habib Ali Zainal Abidin Assegaf in 2004. Every Kliwon Friday, this assembly held the reading of the Prophet's birthday. after performing Friday prayers at his residence, Jalan Toba No. 53 Pekalongan, Central Java, which is now the Secretariat of the Azzahir Council. Over time, the assembly which was previously held on Friday afternoon was changed to Friday Kliwon night and added a study of fiqh and morals according to the direction of Al-Habib Muhammad Lutfi bin Yahya. In addition to the routine assemblies which are held on Friday Kliwon night, the Azzahir Assembly also has routine activities and maulid safaris in several places, both in Pekalongan Regency, around Central Java Province, and other cities.

This application was created to make it easier for users to listen while reading prayers sung by Grub Hadroh Azzahir Pekalongan wherever and whenever. the application is also equipped with a simtudduror maulid book and a complete prayer book.
