Woman Arrested Over Alleged Killing of Husband Planning to Marry Second Wife in Kano

A woman in Rogo Local Government Area of Kano State, Bilkisu Sani, has been arrested in connection with the alleged killing of her husband, Hafizu Gausu, who was reportedly planning to marry another woman as his second wife.

The incident reportedly occurred on Friday evening at about 7pm in the Katsalle area of Rogo town.

A resident, Auwal Kazagi Rogo, told Daily Trust that residents rushed to the scene after hearing cries from Bilkisu, who reportedly claimed that her husband had been slaughtered.

However, Kazagi said residents discovered that Gausu had not been slaughtered but had suffered a severe blow.
