Redmi K100 Pro and K100 Pro Max Unveiled with Flagship Specs

Xiaomi has officially launched the new Redmi K100 Pro and Redmi K100 Pro Max in China, introducing powerful processors, high-refresh-rate displays, large batteries and advanced camera systems.

The Redmi K100 Pro is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 V Series, while the K100 Pro Max uses the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Both models offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, with the Pro Max also available with up to 1TB of storage.

The K100 Pro features a 6.56-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and an impressive 185Hz refresh rate. The Pro Max has a larger 6.9-inch AMOLED display with a 2,608 × 1,200 resolution and the same 185Hz refresh rate.

For photography, both smartphones come with a 200MP main camera. However, the Pro Max offers a more advanced 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom, compared with the 2.5x telephoto camera on the standard Pro. It also features a 50MP ultrawide camera, while the K100 Pro has an 8MP ultrawide camera.

Battery capacity is another major highlight. The K100 Pro packs an 8,580mAh silicon-carbon battery, while the Pro Max comes with an even larger 9,070mAh battery. Both support 100W wired charging, 50W wireless charging and 27W reverse wired charging.

Both devices also feature IP66, IP68 and IP69 protection against dust and water, as well as a Bose-tuned rear subwoofer.

The Redmi K100 Pro comes in Volt, White, Black and Red, while the Pro Max is available in Blue, White, Black and Red.

Based on previous Redmi K-series launches, the new phones could eventually appear in international markets under the POCO F9 Pro and POCO F9 Ultra names, although Xiaomi has not confirmed this yet.
