Four Killed in Israeli Drone Strike on Vehicle in Southern Lebanon

Four people have been killed following an Israeli drone strike on a vehicle in the city of Nabatieh, southern Lebanon, according to Lebanon's state news agency.

Lebanese security sources described the attack as the deadliest Israeli strike in the area in several weeks. The Israeli military said it was looking into the reports.

The strike comes despite a recent reduction in hostilities between Israel and the Iran-backed Hezbollah group. Fighting had eased after diplomatic efforts involving the United States and Iran, including an interim agreement reached last month calling for an end to military operations by both sides and their allies, including in Lebanon.

Israel has continued to maintain a military presence in parts of southern Lebanon following the conflict that intensified earlier this year.
