Kyiv has intensified attacks on Russian military logistics, targeting fuel supplies, power facilities, weapons production sites and transport routes in an effort to weaken Moscow’s forces.
Ukrainian strikes have focused heavily on occupied Crimea, where attacks reportedly damaged oil facilities, disrupted electricity supplies and affected transport links with mainland Russia.
Ukraine used long-range drones to hit fuel infrastructure near the Kerch Strait, including facilities in Crimea and Russia’s Kavkaz port area. The strikes reportedly caused fires at storage sites used to support Russian troops on the front line.
Kyiv also claimed it damaged Russian satellite communication facilities near Moscow, which are believed to help Russian forces coordinate military operations and monitor Ukrainian movements.
Analysts say Ukraine has expanded the range of its attacks, targeting Russian logistics hubs, refineries, weapons factories and energy facilities deep inside Russian territory.
The campaign is part of Ukraine’s broader effort to slow Russian advances by cutting access to fuel, ammunition and supplies.
Russian officials have rejected claims that the attacks are weakening their military campaign, saying their forces continue operations across the front lines.
Meanwhile, reports indicate Belarus has reduced the activity of some systems allegedly used to support Russian drone operations against Ukraine, following pressure from Kyiv.
The developments mark a significant escalation in Ukraine’s strategy of striking beyond the immediate battlefield.
