Two Drones From Lebanon Hit Northern Israel, No Casualties Reported

The Israeli military said on Sunday that two drones, believed to have been launched from Lebanon, struck northern Israel near the border area, but no casualties or injuries were reported.

Following the incident, senior Israeli officials called for a strong response against targets in Lebanon. Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich and National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir urged the government to retaliate by targeting Beirut’s southern suburbs, an area associated with Hezbollah.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has previously warned that Israel would strike the Dahiyeh district in southern Beirut if Hezbollah continued attacks on communities in northern Israel.

The latest drone incident highlights growing tensions along the Israel-Lebanon border, raising concerns about a possible escalation of the conflict in the region.
