The Redmi Turbo 5 is preparing for its India debut, marking the first smartphone in Redmi’s new Turbo series for the Indian market. The device has already launched in China, and several official teasers now reveal key differences for the Indian version.
Launch Date in India
The Redmi Turbo 5 is scheduled to launch in India on June 16 at 1:30 PM IST. The event will be livestreamed on Redmi’s official social media channels and YouTube. A second device, likely the Redmi 17, may also be announced at the same event.
Expected Price in India
The company has not confirmed pricing yet. However, based on the Chinese pricing (around ₹30,000 equivalent), the Redmi Turbo 5 is expected to cost under ₹40,000 in India. Industry estimates suggest a starting price of around ₹36,000 for the base variant.
Design and Build
The Redmi Turbo 5 features a modern flat-edge design with a punch-hole display. At the rear, it has a dual-ring camera layout with LED flash integration. The camera rings also function as visual notification and status indicators for charging, gaming, and music.
It will be available in White, Green, and Black color options.
