Iran’s President Pezeshkian: “We will never bow” amid rising tensions with US and Israel

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has declared that Iran will “never bow” to external pressure, emphasizing that the country will not surrender its dignity or sovereignty in the face of escalating geopolitical tensions involving the United States and Israel.

Speaking at a public event on Monday, Pezeshkian said Iran’s adversaries have failed to destabilize the country or force it into submission. He accused foreign powers of attempting to create divisions between Iranian citizens and their government, but insisted that such efforts would not succeed.

“We will not bow before any power,” he said. “We will manage the country with wisdom and prudence, but we will not sacrifice our national dignity for comfort or convenience.”

The Iranian president also reiterated long-standing accusations that Western governments ignore alleged violations of international law in the region, pointing in particular to the humanitarian situation in Gaza and Palestine.

He claimed that global powers apply double standards in interpreting human rights and self-defense, saying that similar actions elsewhere are often justified in Western media narratives.

According to the remarks, Iran continues to frame its regional position as resistance against foreign pressure and interference, while calling for unity among its population.

The statements come amid heightened rhetoric between Tehran and Washington, alongside ongoing tensions with Israel over regional security issues.
