Two people were seriously injured on Wednesday after an explosion occurred at a hydroelectric power station in southern Switzerland, according to local broadcaster RSI, citing police.
The blast caused part of the building to collapse, while emergency and rescue teams were deployed to the scene.
Authorities have not yet determined what caused the explosion. Rescue operations were still underway as officials assessed the situation.
