LASU Overall Best Graduating Student Bags N10m Academic Excellence Prize

The overall best graduating student of Lagos State University (LASU) for the 2025/2026 academic session, Adebanjo Samuel Oluolamide, has received a N10 million cash prize for his outstanding academic performance.

Oluolamide, a graduate of the Department of Aerospace Engineering, finished with an impressive CGPA of 4.97, earning First-Class Honours.

The award was presented to him by the Sunbeth Excellence Partnership Programme (SEPP) during LASU’s 29th and 30th combined convocation ceremony held on Monday at the Olatunji Bello Auditorium, Epe Campus.

According to the report, the N10 million prize is part of SEPP’s efforts, in partnership with corporate organisations, to recognise academic excellence and encourage innovation among students.

Oluolamide’s achievement highlights the importance of dedication, academic excellence and hard work among Nigerian university students.
