Edo Deputy Governor Urges Muslims to Promote Peace and Unity During Eid-ul-Mawlid.

Edo State Deputy Governor, Dennis Idahosa, has called on Muslims across the state to promote peace, unity, compassion and peaceful coexistence as they celebrate Eid-ul-Mawlid, which commemorates the birth of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).

In a goodwill message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Friday Aghedo, Idahosa encouraged Muslims to reflect on the Prophet’s exemplary life and teachings, particularly his virtues of peace, compassion, humility, tolerance and love for humanity.

The Deputy Governor urged the Muslim faithful to apply these values in their daily lives, strengthen bonds of brotherhood and contribute to peaceful coexistence among residents of Edo State.

He also called on Muslims to pray for continued peace, unity and prosperity in Edo State and Nigeria, while encouraging them to show kindness and support to less privileged members of their communities.

Idahosa prayed that Almighty Allah would accept the prayers of the faithful, grant wisdom to the nation’s leaders and continue to bless Edo State with peace, progress and prosperity.

He wished Muslims across the state a peaceful and fulfilling Eid-ul-Mawlid celebration.
