At least six Palestinians were killed and more than 20 others injured in Israeli air and drone attacks across the Gaza Strip on Monday, according to local medical sources.
Two people were killed in a drone strike targeting a vehicle on Al-Rashid Street in Khan Younis, southern Gaza. In a separate attack, two more Palestinians were killed when a tent sheltering displaced civilians in the Al-Mawasi area was hit. Another Israeli drone strike on an apartment in Gaza City killed a married couple, hospital officials said.
The attacks also left at least 22 people wounded. In addition, the Union of Fishermen’s Committees reported that three Palestinian fishermen were injured by Israeli drone fire off the coast of Gaza City.
The latest violence comes despite a United States-brokered ceasefire agreement reached between Israel and Hamas in October 2025. While large-scale fighting has largely subsided, deadly incidents have continued.
According to Gaza's Ministry of Health, more than 1,072 Palestinians have been killed and 3,463 injured in alleged ceasefire violations since the truce took effect. The ministry also states that the overall death toll in Gaza since the war began in October 2023 has risen to at least 73,098, with 173,571 people reported injured.
Israeli authorities have not immediately commented on the latest strikes.
