Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Graham firmly believed that the security of Israel and the United States was closely connected. He described the late senator as "a great patriot" for America and "a beloved friend" whose support for Israel never wavered.

"Israel has lost one of its greatest friends, America has lost a great patriot, and I have lost a dear friend," Netanyahu said in a statement.

Other senior Israeli officials, including President Isaac Herzog, Defence Minister Israel Katz, Foreign Minister Gideon Saar, and former Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, also expressed their condolences. In separate messages, they praised Graham for his unwavering commitment to Israel and his longstanding friendship with the country.

Graham, a prominent Republican senator, was widely known for advocating strong U.S.-Israel relations throughout his political career. His death has prompted tributes from political leaders in both the United States and Israel, who remember him for his dedication to national security and international alliances.
