Iran's Supreme Leader Vows Justice for Slain Father, Says Nation Demands Accountability.

Iran's Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, has declared that seeking justice for the killing of his father and predecessor, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is a national priority.

In a message posted on his Telegram channel on Saturday, Mojtaba Khamenei said the Iranian people expect those responsible for his father's death to be held accountable, describing the demand for justice as a shared national cause.

His remarks came during funeral ceremonies for Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, who Iranian authorities say was killed in U.S.-Israeli airstrikes on February 28. The funeral was held months after his death, reflecting the significance of the event in Iran.

Reaffirming his commitment to pursuing accountability, Mojtaba Khamenei said Iran would continue to seek justice for the late leader, whose death has further intensified tensions in the region.
